Accessibility statement

Our standard

We build this website, our client portals and our home value reports to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we follow the newer WCAG 2.2 Level AA where we can. That covers things like working with a keyboard alone, screen reader labels, readable color contrast, text that can be zoomed to twice its size, captions or transcripts for our videos, and forms that say clearly what's missing.

What we've done

• Every page can be used with a keyboard, starts with a "Skip to main content" link and shows where you are with a visible focus ring.
• Pages are built with real headings, labels and landmarks so screen readers can move around them.
• Text meets the WCAG contrast ratio, and pages fit a phone screen or a zoomed-in browser without scrolling sideways.
• Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Every Learning Library video has a written transcript.
• The Information About Brokerage Services is also a web page, not only a PDF.
• We test pages with automated accessibility checks (axe) and by hand with a keyboard, as part of every update.

Known limitations

• Maps. The map on home search and on each home's page is hard to use without a mouse or sight. Every home on the map is also in the list next to it, with the same details.
• Listing photos. Photos from the MLS come without descriptions. The home's address, price and details are always written out on the page.
• Documents and forms. Contracts, disclosures and other Texas Real Estate Commission and Texas REALTORS® forms are PDFs we don't control, and some aren't fully readable by screen readers. Ask us and we'll go through any document with you or get you a version that works for you.
• Other sites. Links to Google reviews, Instagram, e-signature services and lenders go to sites with their own accessibility.
• Spam protection. Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which usually runs without a puzzle. If it stops you, text or email us instead.
